Save(d) The Date.

The night before my birthday, I lit my fall candles, brewed up some tea and snuggled in pillows and blankets to watch Save The Date. After drooling over the trailer and posters, I finally saw it and it was all I was expecting.

The film was such an easy, funny love story that really consumed me. I easily fell in love with Lizzy Caplan's character, Sarah,  and everything about her -- her strong will, her self-confidence, her outfits, her cat, her home, her acceptance of herself and her strength to never settle. She kind of became the person I hope to be like when I grow up.

All of the other characters were well-defined people who knew what they wanted and they were just as endearing as well. I was a little creeped out by Mark Webber's character, Jonathan, for a little. I'm not sure why, but he seemed to be hiding something from my girl Sarah. Or maybe I was just being over protected of my dream self. Who knows. He redeemed himself by taking her to an aquarium and then dancing to records in her living room.

Overall, the movie was simple with a few subtle twist and turns with a main lady that is hard not to root for.
