From writing for John Legend and Beyonce to teaming up with Odd Future to then self-releasing a mixtape (nostalgia. ULTRA) and then, in under a year, releasing his first full album -- this man is unreal. Frank Ocean has become a riveting force in R&B and this should not be surprising. This is an artist that values the music and values the words that come into his mind. His first album, Channel Orange, drops 7.17.12 with "Thinking About You" and "Pyramids" on it. There are also collaborations with John Mayer, Andre 300, and Earl Sweatshirt. This should be insane. If you haven't done so already you can check out "Pyramids" over at his site. Also, check out Frank Ocean's performance at Coachella -- any man that opens his set up with Bob Dylan (nonetheless a Bob Dylan song that might be more famous now from Frank Ocean), well, he is a gem to say the least.
